Acadia University celebrates Homecoming Weekend, Thursday, October 11th to Sunday, October 14th!  Alumni and the public are invited to take part in a full weekend of events, including the 106th Bulmer Race, Acadia Performing Arts series, and so much more including many sporting events! AVR welcomes Dean Brody’s Dirt Road Stories Tour with special guest Jessica Mitchell. October 26th at Convocation Hall. Tickets on sale this Friday, Aug. 24 at 12 noon. The Dirt Road Stories Tour is a compelling, intimate acoustic tour, showcasing Brody’s depth as a songwriter and his unparalleled ability to bring storytelling to the forefront of country music.

This annual fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Annapolis Valley is great fun for the whole family. Haunted corn maze, BBQ, games, fireworks, and more!  Just $5 per person & preschoolers get in free.
