Do You Eat Watermelon Seeds? You Might Want To Start!

Do you ever eat watermelon seeds or just throw them away?

Apparently, watermelon seeds are a powerhouse of nutrition. Just one cup delivers more than 30 grams of protein and just 16 grams of carbs. They also provides large doses of magnesium, potassium, zinc, and B-complex vitamins.

Besides just swallowing them along with your watermelon slice, enjoy them roasted or sprouted as an afternoon snack, toss them in salads, or sprinkle them over oatmeal or chia pudding.

Some folks rinse the seeds and spread them on a cookie sheet, then let them dry and roast them in the oven. This crispy snack can suppress appetite and its magnesium content is good for your heart.
